Burbank and London gain Dolby Vision Certified Facility Status

Visual Data’s facilities in Burbank and London have both been awarded Dolby Vision Certified Facility status.

Visual Data clients can now access the full range of Dolby Vision services throughout the content creation workflow including Color Correction, Editing, 4K HDR IMF mastering, VOD Packaging, QC as well as UHD Blu-ray authoring for home entertainment.

Visual Data London MD Symon Roue said:  ‘We have been delivering growing volumes of HDR content as more premium titles are being post produced in 4K and we felt that now was the time to invest.  Dolby Vision certified facility status shows we can provide the gold standard of HDR delivery to our customers and the platforms they deliver to.’

Christos Glaridis, Operations Director, said: ‘It has been fantastic working with Dolby.  As well as ensuring that our suites meet their exacting standards they provided full training for our staff and offer continued support’.

The team in Burbank spent 3 days training with Dolby staff, their suite of custom tools and the Dolby Content Mapping Unit (CMU).
